PID have relaunched there uber-popular Placentero chair, by young Argentinean designer Batti.

The inspiration for this fibreglass comfort-sphere came from the “pregnancy period”, mainly the “placenta” and “pleasure”, hence the name Placentero. Luckily the finished product creates a far better mental picture than its inspirational context. Am I the only one that finds putting “placenta” and “pleasure” in the same sentence slightly uncomfortable? Luckily the chair looks anything but.
